Free Range Chick Designs note cards are soft block prints, similar in process and style to linoleum block prints or wood cuts. Each original image is hand-carved in reverse using a linoleum block carving tool, then inked and printed onto paper. One of my favorite parts of using this medium is the element of surprise when I finish carving a new design and print it for the first time! The cards are individually hand-printed on recycled paper. Many of the cards incorporate several different stamps, or the same stamp printed several times.

I am an avid (some say fanatical) recycler, and I re-use and recycle scraps diligently. In addition, most of the products shown are printed on 100% post-consumer recycled paper and come with 100% post-consumer recycled envelopes.
These soft block print cards are blank inside. Cards measure 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches, and are packaged in sets of 10 cards and envelopes.
